Corkscrew twist hairstyle can be a perfect choice for black, African hair because of the natural kink in the hair which helps to keep the style intact for a long time. This type of hairstyle can be created at home itself without going to a saloon to save money. Once the hair gets to hang, you can do it every day very easily without any trouble. To create this style, first you need to wash the hair using a deep conditioning treatment and then spread a little amount of leave in conditioner.
Next divide the hair into two inch sections starting from back of the head to the front. Use clips to keep the hair in sections. Take one of the sections of the hair and divide it into two sections. Start twisting the strands until it becomes completely wound up. Twist each section in the same way and in case you are unable to twist the hair with your hands, use a mini hair rod to do this. Then separate each two inch sections in a smaller section and start twisting them together in the same directions until it becomes tight. At last use a hood dryer to hold the twist in place which may take about half an hour or you can also use a shower cap and then blow dry the hair. After removing the shower cap remove each mini rod and leave it to unroll on its own.
