Bunches is a type of hairstyle where the hair will be parted down the middle and then collected into two symmetrical bundles similar to the ponytails which is secured near the scalp. This style is also known as pigtails in some of the places, but it can be called as a pigtail only if the hair is braided. Most of the time this hairstyle is worn by toddlers as well as young girls as it will suit them perfectly and it also takes very less time in achieving it. This style can be worn in different ways such as high and low bunches. It is also called as twin tails in places like Japan.

It is very easy to get this hairstyle, first you must divide the hair into two equal parts. You can create a centre or zig-zag parting which can be done by parting the hair with a comb in one movement, without lifting it. Next start combing the two bunches at the back from the tips to the roots which will give a deliberately unkempt effect as well as hold it in place using a little amount of gel or spray. You can also tie bunches with ribbons, bands and raffia to the length of each bunches to make it more attractive. Fold the dreads under or twist it around the base of the bunch to create a twisty bun and secure it using a large tie or scarf.
