Nubian Braids are a type of hairstyle with hair extension which is mostly used on the African American hair. In this style, the hair will be twisted which is a form of protective styling and mostly worn for about two months to save the natural hair from daily rigors of heat and chemical styling. This style is known to be very time consuming as each sections of the hair is braided. Here are few simple methods that can help to achieve this hairstyle in a very simple way.
To get this style, first divide the natural hair using a wide-toothed comb starting from the forehead to the back of your neck and then from your ear to ear. This will make it easy for you twist the hair in a neatly arranged pattern. Clip each unused section of hair with hair clips out of the way which will make it easier for you to continue the twisting process. Stretch the hair out from end to end with the help of your hands which will make it to take on a fluffy texture. Take the section of Nubian twist hair from bulk of hair and apply a little amount of moisturizer by rubbing it which will allow for ease of twisting. Transition from a three-strand braid into two-strand twist to create a twisting pattern. Use the same process to the other sections of the hair until you twist all the natural hair into a Nubian Braid.
