A Braided Mohawk is a very unique way of styling your hair. This hairstyle combines the outlandish look of a punk culture along with an ethnic hair styling method. In this hairstyle, the hair will be braided into a Mohawk to enhance the appeal for individuals looking to get edgy hair without partially shaven head. Here is a method that can help to create this style.
To begin the styling, first was the hair with a shampoo and dry it with a blow-dryer. Make sections for your cornrow braids as it will make the braids to lie flat against your scalp to simulate the Mohawk look. Tilt the head to one side and part the hair vertically using a rat-tail comb from root to end. Try to create different sections on the other side of the head too. Divide the parted section of hair using a duckbill clip and duplicate the size of the parts for an even appearance. Start removing the duckbill clips and wrap a small elastic band at the end of each cornrow. Braid the hair until all of the cornrows are done which will be give you a symmetrical Mohawk look with the cornrow ends secured with elastic bands. You can also curl the hair or straighten it depending upon the length of the hair.
