To create this hairstyle, first wash your hair and keep it slightly damp. Then spread a little amount of styling gel in your hands and apply it from the tips of the hair to the root section. Next comb the hair downward to create a ponytail and secure it at the nape of your neck which is considered to be a classic place for a chignon. Twist the ponytail and wrap it around the base of your ponytail holder. Hold the hair in place around the ponytail holder using bobby pins and insert two bobby pins into one area by crossing them over one another. Finally spread a few drops of shine serum in your hands and apply it all over the hair to tame flyaways. Try to secure short hair that is not able to not fit into the chignon using bobby pins or hair clips. Mist the hair with hairspray to secure to get into the look.
