Hairstyle With Ghana Braids
Ghana Braids are very much similar to the cornrows and it is very common for the African culture. To create this hairstyle, you must know how to braid the cornrows. It is a cornrow braid with added hair that creates a sharp edge on the braids. You can also add hair extensions to the cornrows to create more advanced hairstyles and add thickness or length to the hair.
It is easy to create this style, first part your hair down the middle of the head or on the side of your head. Make sure that divided part is straight and secure the rest of your hair in place with a hair tie or hair clip to keep it away from the braiding process. This part must look very thin to create a medium sized braid divide it into three equal parts by folding one layer of hair over. Start braiding the hair at the beginning of your scalp with thin layer of hair. First create two or three rows and then remove the added hair. Continue the braiding process with the natural hair and keep the hand tight while adding hair to keep it strong. Continue to add hair to create a straight line effect. At last braid the hair with a normal cornrow which should be thin at the beginning and then begin to get thicker across the back of your head. Use the same process to create braids all over the head.
