Chinese Bumps is a hairstyle that can be created very easily if the hair is already in dreadlocks. In this hairstyle, there will be twists or braids that will be wrapped into a ball near the scalp. It is also known with different names in various parts of the world. This hairstyle was very popular during the 1970s where most of them used to wear it.
To create this style, first comb the hair to remove the tangles. Next part the hair using a wide-toothed comb for detangling and then with rat-tail comb. Make sure there are no tangles over the head starting from the ends till the root of the hair. Apply a little amount of moisturizer and part the hair into small sections which depends upon the length of your hair. Make sure the sections of the hair that is divided must be at least one inch in size to make this hairstyle look perfect. Spread a little amount of hair gel to the hair and take a section to twist it using your fingers. After the hair becomes tight with the twist, try to wrap it around itself. Tuck the ends of the hair under the twist which should look like a knot. Hold the knot in place by wrapping it with a rubber band. After creating the Chinese Bumps all over the head, mist the hair with a little amount of finishing spray to get into the look.
