Figure eight braid is very easy and fun way to style the hair. Anyone who knows to create a French braid or a Dutch braid, they can easily create this hairstyle. This style is is one among several striking braid hairstyles that can give a big impression with little effort.
To get this hairstyle, first brush the hair to get rid of tangles and dampen the hair slightly as a dry can be difficult to braid slipping between the fingers. Then add a little amount of mousse or gel over the damp hair to prevent flyaways. Next divide the hair into four sections along with a part which must go straight down the middle of your head from ear to ear. Secure each section with a butterfly clamp. Start braiding the first section which is the easiest to begin with one of the front sections. Use a Dutch style braid for the figure eight style which will make it look like the braid is sitting outside of your head. Braid front two sections back and toward the back of your head. Then braid back two sections upside down, toward the front and criss cross the braids by looping the tails around each other. Finally secure the hair with bobby pins only if needed and mist all over the hair with a finishing hairspray. Keep practicing this hairstyle to create your own design and be carefully while removing the braid as it may get tangled.
