Flapper Bangs Hairstyle
Flapper bangs used to be one of the popular hairstyles in the 1920s. This style is worn by few women in the present day as it can give a unique look. In this hairstyle, bangs will cover most of the forehead which will be sculpted with hair wax. It will look very close to your head and it can be difficult to create this hairstyle with a straight or curly hair.
To create this hairstyle, part your hair from middle or at the side of your head. Brush your bangs forward or comb it off to a side. Take a flat iron to straighten your hair and to get a silky-smooth texture. Use a flat iron to curl ends of your hair and apply a little amount of hair gel in your hand to spread it in top of your hair to make it smooth. Use a bobby pin on the sides of the hair to pull it away from your face and secure it in place. You can also create finger waves in the bangs by washing your hair and applying a setting hair gel all over. Take a 2 inch section of your hair and flip a bobby pin over it. Keep the forefinger at 1 inch lower than bobby pin to make wave in your hair. Take 2 inch section of the hair from first section to use the same technique. At last remove bobby pins and then comb your hair to end the styling.
