Regency curls are the classic way of styling the hair for special occasions. This hairstyle was started in the 1810s which is a period associated with romance and an elegant beauty. There are only few women who like to style the hair in this way as it usually consumed more time to create. This style can be worn with empire-waisted gowns along with slightly disordered ringlets.
To create this style, first part the hair down the middle using a sectioning comb and secure it away from the styling process. Take a one inch section of the unsecured hair and wrap it around 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch curling iron. Keep the curling iron vertically pointing towards the ceiling. This who have short hair, they can curl the entire length of the hair and about several inches away from the scalp. Try to heat your hair for two seconds and loosen the curl slightly. Remove the curling iron out slowly and make sure to keep the curl intact during this process. Now curl rest of the unsecured hair and create a low ponytail at the back of your head if the hair is too long. Twist the hair upwards along the back and pin the hair to your head. Try to secure most of the curly ends to the top of your head and leave tight ringlets loose. Finally take the front section of your hair and curl it to frame your face.
