Adding Clip-In Extensions
Clip-in extensions are the best way to add temporary length to your hair without getting help from a hairstylist. Try to use clip-ins to achieve the length for a day that can be the perfect choice for special occasion and it can be used every day to maintain long hairstyle. You can also experiment with the placement of the clip-in extensions to make them blend with the hair as much as possible.
To add clip-in extensions to your hair, first you must create part over the nape of your head from ear to ear and attach the shortest hair extension. Then smooth rest of the hair away from the part and hold it in place with a hair clip. Slide a comb of the clip into the roots of the part and then push the clip closed to secure it. Tease the hair that is thin at the root of your part by combing to become more bulk. Take the hair from the hair clip and then part it from ear to ear about 1 to 1 1/2 inch over the first extension. Use a longer hair extension and continue to add it to the back of your head. Now you can add the shorter pieces of the hair to the sides of your head and above the ear and frame your face as well as blend the hair. At last brush the hair to blend the extension hair along with the real hair.
