Hairstyle With Side Cornrows
Cornrows are the most preferred hairstyle among African-American women. This hairstyle can be created on any part of the head and to make it look unique try to create it at the side of the head. It is usually achieved with a technique that is similar to French braiding and in this the braid will be weaved underneath to add body instead of crossing side strands over middle section.
To begin the styling process, first wash the hair completely and keep it slightly damp. Next brush the hair to remove the tangles and part it at the side of the head. Then divide a small section of hair using the end of a rat-tail comb and secure the rest of your hair back. Now divide the section into three equal strands and start crossing left strand under middle strand to make it the new middle strand, then cross right strand under new middle strand. Take a small amount of hair beneath your braid using the end of the rat-tail comb and try to add it to middle strand. Now you must braid another stitch and continue the braiding process by adding hair to middle strand, then braiding it again until you reach end of the first cornrow. Twist the end to hold it in place with a rubber hair band. Now take another section of hair to start another cornrow using the same method at the same side or other side of your head.
