Vintage haircut is one of the most popular hairstyle during the 1960s and 1970s. This style consisted of accomplishing longest hair possible by letting it fall straight down. It was a perfect hairstyle among women who had straight hair, but those who had curly or wavy hair must use an iron or straighten the hair in to achieve the look. The hairstyle is also worn by those who have curly hair, but they must give much more attention as well as care as it can easily become tangled. The Vintage haircut also requires regular maintenance as the hair can start to block the vision.
To get the Vintage haircut, make a deep side part in your hair. Next separate the bangs into two inch section and comb your hair. Roll your hair under from end of the section to make a large roll and secure it in front of the head. Next divide your hair in the area behind your bangs to pull it at one side back just like a ponytail. Mist the hair with a hairspray and comb it backward. Now twist the hair over as a roll to secure it in place and leave remaining hair to hang down on your shoulder. Take the bangs out and roll it under to make a wave type roll. Then take back of the hair on one shoulder to divide it into two different sections. Wrap this section around over each other and then secure it with elastic.
