Removing Hair Tracks
Hair tracks are sometimes very difficult to remove as they are stuck to your head using glue. Most of the use sew-in extensions and cornrow braiding to avoid using the glue. Even though it is considered to be difficult to remove the glued-in hair tracks it can be taken out with minimal pain and less damage to your hair by following these simple steps.
To begin the styling process, use a glue remover over the tracks at your scalp and leave it to soak. Then rinse the hair with a glue remover using warm water and use a towel to dry your hair by squeezing the excess water. Spread a generous amount of thick oil such as olive or baby oil over the glue on the tracks and leave the oil to set in for about 15 to 20 minutes. Next rinse the oil from the hair using warm water and pull out the tracks which should easily slip off though the hair. Now scrub the scalp and wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo. Rinse the hair with warm water brush through your hair to get rid of any remaining glue pieces. Wash the hair again till the oil and glue are washed out completely. At last apply a little amount of clarifying conditioner all over the hair which will moisturize and heal the damaged hair. Make sure to apply the conditioner only on your hair and avoid using it on the scalp.
