Underhand braid is a hairstyle that can give a Grecian goddess-inspired look. In this hairstyle, the braid will lie flat on the head for a unique and elegant look. You cannot achieve this style by using the regular braiding technique as an additional practice is required to create this look.
First brush your hair completely to remove any tangles. Then spread a gel all over the hair and comb it from root to tip. Next part the hair down the middle and secure one half of the hair into a ponytail. Now take a small section of hair from the front of loose hair and separate the section into three equal parts such as left, right and center. Create the braid by taking right piece of hair and cross it under the left to make it the center strand, then the center strand will become the right strand. Take left strand to cross it under the center to make the new center strand. Keep the strands tightly and ad new pieces of hair to center strand by taking up new pieces from your hair underneath the center section and include it with the braid. Continue the braiding process ill you reach the end of the hair and secure it with an elastic band to keep it in place. Take other half of the unbraided hair and follow the same method to create the braid. Finally wrap both the braids around each other and secure it with bobby pins.
