Afro Hair Twists
Afro hair twists is one of the best hairstyles for those who have an unprocessed, kinky hair. Then twists and twist outs can be a protective style that will give the fragile hair a much-needed break from combing and styling manipulation. This hairstyle is also worn on natural hair as the added texture will help the twist to remain intact. Just follow these simple steps to create this hairstyle on your own.
To create afro hair twists, first wash the hair with a shampoo and use a conditioning product. Use a towel to dry your hair and mist all over with a leave-in conditioner. Remove the knots from the hair using your fingers and apply a moisturizing product on your hair. Next blow dry the hair with warm heat setting for about five minutes to lengthen the strands. Use your finger to divide a piece of hair with the thickness that depends on the twist size you like to have. Slender the twists as it will need less hair than the thicker twists. Use a butter product such as Elasta QP mango butter over the section of hair to add shine and definition. Now divide the section into two strands and start twisting it around each other in a clockwise direction. Twist your strand all the way down and leave about half inch of hair at the end to twist it around your finger which will support it to curl on its own keeping your entire twist intact.
