Removing Semi-Permanent Hair Color
Coloring your hair with a semi-permanent color can be an effective way to check whether the new color is for you. After using the hair color, it will start to fade within six weeks that will give more time to know if you like the hair color without a long-term commitment. In case you want to get rid of the semi-permanent color, just follow these simple steps.
First take about 1/4 cup virgin olive oil into the microwavable bowl for one minute till it becomes hot. Try to apply the hot olive oil all over your hair starting from the root to the end of your hair. Then use plastic wrap cover your hair to keep heat in and put a warm towel around plastic wrap. Leave olive oil in your hair for about 20-30 minutes to loosen the semi-permanent hair color. Next wash your hair with running water and rinse it thoroughly. Wash the hair using a volumizing shampoo that can help to expand the hair shaft by making it easier for the hair color to be removed. Shampoo your hair at least two or three times to get rid of the olive oil residue and hair color. Rinse the hair for several minutes using hot water to get rid of any remaining hair color and use a towel to dry the hair. In case the semi-permanent hair color stays on your hair, repeat these steps again to remove it completely.
