Most of the people like to keep their hair colored, but the color on the hair can stay for about 4-6 weeks before the light roots will start to show up. The light hair roots can expose your true hair color which can be annoying. In some of the cases, you must get help from a hairstylist or there are few steps that can be followed at home to hide the light roots.
Start the styling process after getting a root cover-up hair color which must be of the same shade as your hair. Wrap an old cloth around your shoulder to avoid the color from falling. Then brush the hair to get rid of any tangles before applying the mixture. Next divide the hair into four sections such as front left, front right, back left and back right. Wear plastic gloves in your hand and start applying the hair color over the entire hairline and try to massage it with your fingertips. Take the left front section of hair to apply root cover-up down the center of the scalp to massage it into the roots. The cover-up must extend 1 to 1.5 inches only from the scalp and then move 1 inch to the left of your line that was just covered. Apply cover-up and try to massage it by moving over entire left section of the hair. Now take the right section and use the same method. Finally wash your hair until water runs out clean.
