Dealing With Rough Hair
A rough hair is usually occurred due to lack of moisture in the hair and it can also lead to frizziness. It is not possible to control the rough hair just by washing as it will not do any good to the hair. There are few important things that must be followed to care for a rough hair. Here are few simple steps to deal with a rough hair without going to any hair specialist.
First wash the hair and dry it into sections with the help of a comb. Then apply a small amount of coconut oil in the scalp all over the head. Massage the scalp using your fingertips which will help make the oil to spread throughout your hair. Next comb the hair to remove the tangles by turning the head upside-down towards ground. Wrap a towel around the head and leave the hair for about 1-2 hours. Now you must wash the hair using moisturizing shampoo and then condition it as usual. Make sure that shampoo and conditioner must have natural ingredients such as cocoa, shea butter or avocado. Try top pat dry your hair using a clean towel and avoid rubbing it too much as it can cause damage to the cuticles in the hair leading to split ends. Brush wet hair using a wide-tooth brush to remove the tangles. You can also get a haircut at least once in 6-8 weeks to remove the split ends.
