Chlorine in hair can change your hair lighter than it originally is and it is mostly found in pool water. There are hard metals in pool water that makes the chlorine to react with your hair. You will find green strains in your hair when there is chlorine that will make it look completely different. Even though there are various methods that can be followed to get rid of the chlorine in your hair, but you can use the following method to do it carefully.
First add a small amount of ketchup in your shampoo to wash your hair. Then cover your head using a shower cap and leave it for about ten minutes. You can also use more ketchup directly on your hair and condition it with a proper method. You can also add Alka-Seltzer tablets in a bowl of water and ix it with 2 tbsp of baby shampoo. Use this mixture on your hair until you find some lather and leave it for about five minutes. Then wash the hair and get a conditioning treatment. Add a packet of lemonade Kool-Aid along with a little amount of shampoo and apply it on your hair. Then rinse the hair to remove the stains from the hair. Another option would be applying a cocoa butter cream on the hair starting from root to end of the hair before going into pool water which can keep the chlorine away from your hair.
