Using Shea Butter To Moisturize Hair
A Shea butter can be used as a natural moisturizer on the hair as it has been made of nuts. It is also used by the Africans for generations to rejuvenate the hair as well as skin. The Shea butter is also known to restore a damaged hair by adding moisture to it. It can be used for conditioning the hair without following any special steps.
First get a high quality Shea butter and melt it using saucepan. Then wear a pair of hand gloves to massage the Shea butter on the hair. Try to cover the entire hair and cover it with a towel. Leave it on for about half an hour and wash the hair as usual with a shampoo. Another option is adding a 1 tsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of honey, 1 1/2 tbsp of plain yogurt and 1 tsp of Shea butter in the saucepan. Then add an egg into the saucepan and stir it completely. Dampen your hair before applying this mixture on it and leave it for about 30 minutes. The third option would be heating about 1 1/3 cup Shea butter and mixing it with 1/2 cup olive oil in a saucepan. Then leave the mixture to become cool and add a 1 tsp vitamin E oil as well as 1/2 oz fragrance oil in it. Mix it all together and apply it over your hair to leave for 15 minutes before washing the hair as usual.
