Hairstyle With Long Faux Hawk
A long faux hawk can be created to get a completely new look. This hairstyle is a modified version of the original faux hawk that will be created with a short hair. Creating this look with a long hair can be very complicated when compared to a short hair. You must use a lot of hair gel while changing the hair into a faux hawk.
Begin your styling by misting the entire hair with hairspray and use a flat iron to make the hair straight. Brush your hair using the rat-tail comb and part your hair in the middle section which will be used to create the faux hawk. Now take your hair section for brushing with the same comb for adding more body and twist it like a rope before securing it in place. Pull out two small hair strands from both the sides of your first section to make a ponytail. Next take another part from the same section for rolling it and use bobby pins for keeping in place. Mist the hair with a spray and brush it using rat-tail comb. Now flip the remaining hair back to create a simple bump and mist it with a hairspray. Try to tease your hair which falls on the rolls to add more volume to it and keep the rolls just below to keep it covered. Smoothen the hair that is at the side of your bump and secure it using more pins.
