Prevent Greasy Look in Your Straight Hair
While making your hair straight, there are chances that it can become slightly greasy. Most of the time you will be using hairstyling products that will give your hair a greasy look once it has been straightened. There are ways to prevent the greasy look in your hair after the straightening process. Instead of using a serum or oil to protect your hair from the heat produced by flat iron, try to spritz your hair with aerosol spray as it will prevent the greasy look.
To begin the process, first wash the hair and blow dry it as usual with a normal hair dryer. You must use a shampoo that features baking soda for washing your entire hair as it can keep the greasy look out of your hair. Then comb the hair with a flat brush to remove the frizz from your hair and leave the hair to air dry for few minutes. Now use the flat iron to make the hair straight in sections. Avoid using too much pressure with the flat while making the hair straight to prevent any split ends. You can mist the hair with a spray to prevent it getting damaged due to the heat produced by the flat iron during the straightening process. Make sure to consult a hairstylist for taking the greasy look out of your hair before undergoing the hair straightening process. This is very important if you are using flat iron at home for hair straightening.
